METHOD

1. The Prep: Start with a raw, high-quality whole chicken.

2. The Seasoning: Get your hands on the "Barnyard Blaze" rub from @StonevilleBBQ (launching soon!).

3. The Binder: Create a sticky glaze using 1/2 a can of beer and honey. Whisk well, then baste it generously over the chicken to help the seasoning stick.

4. The Rub: Cover the bird thoroughly with the rub, making sure it gets into every single fold.

5. The Roast: Insert the remaining half-filled beer can into the chicken cavity and stand it upright on a baking tray. Pour any leftover binder liquid into the bottom of the tray (add a splash of water if it looks dry).

6. The Cook: Roast carefully in the oven at 180°C for 1.5 hours. Watch out when removing it so you don't face a beer-tastrophe!

7. The Rest: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before carving.

Hi, my name is

Chris

Chris here from Sliver and Bite, I have been creating desserts for 4 years and recently started creating real time cooking tutorials on social media. I have always prided myself on creating authentic food with real ingredients. When learning to cook I found a gap in the market for real time cooking tutorials. I slow the process down so the viewer is able to cook along.
