About the Recipe
Chantilly cream is a sweetened whipped cream that allows to be refrigerated for up to 2 days without deflating. Often flavored with vanilla. Light, airy, and luxurious, it’s commonly used as a topping for desserts like cakes, pastries, and fruit. Chantilly cream adds an elegant touch to any treat.
Ingredients
250ml whipping cream
60g confectioners sugar
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
75g mascarpone
Method
1. Whip cream just before it reaches stiff peaks.
2. Add mascarpone on slow to combine.
3. Add confectioners sugar and vanilla and whip to create stiff peaks.
Note: don’t whip too much as the mixture will split.
Variations can include, Oreo for cookies and cream. Fresh crisp strawberries for strawberries and cream or crushed pistachios and a dash of pistachio oil for pistachio and cream.
Add your chosen flavour to the Chantilly cream and fold in, no need to whip.
